We have been visiting Hastings for Two days. On our last night we decided to visit this fantastic restaurant. The service was impeccable and the food was superb. The service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. As a Celiac, and requiring no gluten , I was especially looked after. On receipt of the bill, my Wife and I were blown away with the value for money and the service. We live out of the area, but we will be back for sure. Thank you Alex and the team for making sure our last night in Hastings was one to remember.
8 of us showed up late. They set up a table and welcomed us right away. We felt at home. Their service from the daughter to the her mother and father was exceptional. The food was the next part; being so welcomed we were excited to try the food and it was equally great! From the crispy and soft pita to the shareable meat platter to the homemade delicious Baklava was on point. I chose this place coming from Canada and asked local long term Hastings residents to trust me, so it was a little assertive on my part, at the end of the evening they also shared this sentiment and are looking to host and share this venue with their friends and family. Thank you for everything guys! You made me look good! lol.
Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, and fantastic staff! The chilli sauce is a game-changer, and the onions with sumac and pomegranate sauce are absolutely to die for. Every bite was bursting with flavor — can’t wait to come back!
First time trying out this place at the weekend and it was one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in town, the food was incredible, everything was perfectly cooked and really nice. Will definitely be going back and I highly recommend you try this out, mixed platter for 2 is a must!
We visited Old Town Mezze and BBQ today and not for the first time. Usually we order grilled lamb and chicken but today we decided to try grilled sea bass and wow it was sensational, the portion was huge, very tasty and washes down well with the usual bottle of white. The staff are friendly and welcoming which keep us coming back time and time again. I've even dropped in for a quick coffee before which was also lovely. Can't recommend enough - see you soon Old Town Mezze and BBQ!
Old Town Meze & BBQ is a true representation of Middle Eastern generosity. You get to try amazing dips and fluffy flatbread. We ordered meze platter, chichen shish, wings and casserole - everything was fresh, flavoursome and very tasty. The staff is very lovely and attentive. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
Great food, great people. I am Turkish and I absolutely loved it. Turkey quality. The owners are really polite. You should definitely visit. Better than fish and chips.
Went for a friend’s birthday. Atmosphere was amazing. The staff brilliant. When they found out it was our friend’s birthday they got some cake, put candles in it and sung happy birthday in both Turkish and English. The food was divine and if you need to alter the dish or add bits to it, they are accommodating. The bread and dips given free at the start were delicious. Will definitely have to go back
